Life as an International Student at York University School of Continuing Studies

Back in India, when I was a child, it was my dream to study abroad at a renowned university to gain exposure to other cultures and life. As soon as I completed my Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University, I started looking for the best Universities worldwide for my post-graduate studies I came across York University with World University Ranking between 351th-400th in the world and decided to apply for the same. I Choose a Post-graduate certificate in Digital & Content marketing Jan 24 intake.

My first Interaction with the university was at the Orientation that was held on the 7th Jan where it started with a small Brunch then we were welcomed with official welcome speeches from the university leaders and representatives. Later other things like Academic Advising, Information sessions, Workshops and Seminars, Social Activities, Resource fairs, Technology Training, Safety and Security briefings, Cultural and Diversity Programs, Housing Orientation, Optional Parent/Guardian Sessions, and the Campus Tour were provided.Coffee Provided by the University on the day of Orientation
