I took a risk when I decided to go after a postgraduate diploma in digital marketing at York University School of Continuing Studies (YSCS), as it promised both personal and professional development. I began my new journey of studying abroad when I arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport. It was thrilling and scary to go from my home country to Toronto's busy downtown. I adjusted to the city's lively culture and welcoming community, even if it took me a few weeks to get used to the new surroundings, climate, and way of life. I distinctly recall a group project where we had team members from five different countries. The collaboration was sometimes challenging due to our varied approaches and styles, but it ultimately led to a richer, more innovative final product. Through these interactions, I not only broadened my global perspective but also forged meaningful friendships that provided a sense of belonging. It was reassuring to know that, despite being far from home, I had a support network for career advancement . that felt like a second family.The programme gave students a thorough foundation of digital marketing, covering everything from basic ideas like SEO and SEM to sophisticated tactics like content marketing and data analytics. Studying abroad opportunities added a global perspective to this foundation. This experience was distinct because of the focus on integrating academic understanding with real-world application.

Practical learning is given priority in YSCS's Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing curriculum.
