With snow-covered streets and sparkling lights, the city turned into a wintry paradise. I dressed warmly in layers, enjoyed the holiday spirit, and took advantage of the city's winter attractions. Winter in Toronto turned into a memorable experience for me, from going to the stunning Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square to trying out ice skating at the rink in Harbourfront Centre.

My horizons were expanded, and I made lifelong friendships with individuals from all over the world by taking part in multicultural events.
