I always wondered how it would be to become an international student. I always envied my friends who decided to go abroad as international students to complete their studies and I felt jealous when they explained their experiences. I was in India at that time wondering, “Will I ever get a chance to go and study abroad?”

From my very first day at York University School of Continuing Studies, I knew I was embarking on a transformative journey. Todd Rich, our Program Manager, welcomed us with a heartfelt speech. His words not only outlined the university’s policies and regulations but also made us feel at home, setting the stage for an incredible period of learning and growth.
Introduction
York University School of Continuing Studies was a great place to personally embark on my return back into the world. I have since graduated with two post-graduate certificates - one in Advanced Professional Accounting and another in Digital & Content Marketing, over the last two years. I learned different skills and gained exposure to varied aspects of businesses through each program, which proved both professionally beneficial and personally enriching. So how did these programs shape my career, and what were my experiences in it?
