As an international student from India, embarking on a postgraduate journey at York University’s School of Continuing Studies has been a transformative experience. My name is Rishabh Kothari, and I am pursuing a postgraduate certificate in Digital and Content Marketing. After completing Marketing Management from Humber College, and looking at job postings online, I realized the demand for Digital Marketing so, I did some research and comparisons and ended up choosing the Digital and Content Marketing course at York University School of Continuing Studies due to its favorable tuition fee for international students and York’s esteemed brand image.

Getting back to studying once we’ve started working is really difficult. The endless questions we ask ourselves make the transition daunting and overwhelming. However, in order to grow and improve our careers, we make such big decisions.

My name is Navneet Kaur, and I hail from India to make a big change in my professional life. I am currently enrolled in a digital marketing & content marketing course at the York University School of Continuing Studies. I’m still working as an SEO consultant, and to be honest, balancing work and study is not a piece of cake, like literally.

However, the difficulties are worth it. The support from York University, faculty, and my classmates has eased my journey. I’m proud of my decision to return to studying and choosing this university over other colleges in Canada. I can’t wait to complete this course and see the opportunities that await me in the digital marketing field.

Starting on a process of continual learning can be thrilling and at the same time challenging. This review will provide valuable information to anyone thinking of attending York University School of Continuing Studies in Toronto in terms of what the school gets right and what it gets wrong. From my own observations as well as from the feedback I have received from my students, I will discuss about the features that set this school apart, as well as some recommendations for improvement.

Choosing to enrol in the Digital Media program at York University School of Continuing Studies was a pivotal decision in my life. This choice was largely influenced by an unexpected turn of events; my visa got cancelled because I was notified by the IRCC that my work permit was no longer valid due to my previous university not being DLI registered. Therefore, in order to remain in Canada, I needed to pursue another study program. 

I am Nashrah and before coming to Canada, I worked in Dubai as a Marketing professional. But one day, I decided that to further enhance my skills I should do my post graduate program in digital marketing. Then one of my friends suggested York University's School of Continuing Studies(SCS) and after my research, I applied for the post graduate certificate program in Digital and Content Marketing. Picking the best university and navigating its particular admissions process was the first difficulty of the journey. Though it was a good practice that forced me outside of my comfort zone, recording myself for admittance first made me nervous as I am an introvert. The anticipation of starting a new chapter in my life filled me with excitement when I received the admission letter.

Choosing the right path for education can be very skeptical and my journey to dive into marketing world was very long. I realised the nature of advertisement industry always varies depending more on trends. After my course of Business Management -product management. I continuously needed to learn. That’s when I realised how I can work in advertisement industry? This made me figured it out to be in more engaged in marketing it would be more way better to be in Digital marketing. That’s when choosing York University was one of my essential choices in my choice. Moreover, I will clarify in brief on how YorkU have changed my career direction and how it would turn yours too. As a understudy in this program, the education really reflects the current patterns and the industry.
