One of the most significant decisions I ever made was studying abroad. It is a thrilling but challenging journey that presents innumerable memorable experiences. One of the best choices I have ever made is registering for a Digital Marketing course at the York University School of Continuing Studies in Canada. I came from a marketing background in India and wanted a program that would fine-tune my capabilities and provide a worldwide outlook on digital marketing. This is my life story, how I became who I am now, and why I chose York University.

When I first stepped onto the campus of York School of Continuing Studies, I felt like I was entering a whole new world. Little did I know that this journey would be filled with challenges, triumphs, and incredible personal growth. As I near the end of my program, I want to share my experiences and offer some advice to future students who are about to embark on their own adventures.

The Beginning

Welcome to my deep dive into York University. During my graduation I never thought that my next step can be doing a post-grad in Canada. But today here I am, after my graduation I applied to York University School of Continuing Studies to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Content Marketing, and guess what I got accepted. When I got my offer letter, I was really excited to live a whole new life and experience new cultures. So, my experience at York University is filled with both joy and challenges. To illustrate my journey, I will discuss what all I expected and what was the reality, I’ll touch on the benefits and difficulties I encountered, at last I will also provide a few tips to other students to help them acquire skills and knowledge at York.

I never thought about going to York University in the first place, but I guess you can’t control where life takes you, things happened and here I am as an International student with a post-graduate certificate in Digital and content marketing. In this blog post, I will talk about the journey for me and what you can expect from York University.

I always wondered how it would be to become an international student. I always envied my friends who decided to go abroad as international students to complete their studies and I felt jealous when they explained their experiences. I was in India at that time wondering, “Will I ever get a chance to go and study abroad?”
